Located at the intersection of 200th and 64th in Langley, this Creative Kids Learning Center (CKLC), was completed in September of 2016. SML Consultants Group not only designed the power distribution system, but provided design for an enhanced fire alarm system to suit the daycares needs. Incorporating child tamper-resistant devices into our designs is routine as SML has worked on multiple projects with CKLC.

When Mark’s Work World decided to construct a new building on Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge, BC, SML Consultants was delighted to be apart of the process. SML partnered with Teck Construction Ltd to complete this 19,600 square foot building in 2015. This store was designed with energy efficiency in mind and also has a back-up generator.
This John Deere Dealership, located in Yorkton Saskatchewan, was well worth the airmiles! This location not only has a sales floor, but also services farm equipment. The entire building is 85,000 square feet and construction was completed in November 2016. SML Consultants Group Ltd provided full electrical engineering drawings and services.
This completely renovated store located in Calgary’s Chinook Centre is Shoppers Drug Mart’s busiest location Canada wide. The recessed LED cove lighting integrates with the cosmetic counters in the store’s Beauty Boutique, along with the fragrance area, skin care counter, and nail center. The electrical design includes the installation of a Gridcast visual communications system and displays media on TV monitors for the in-store signage.
Careful planning was required to schedule the electrical upgrades and installations as this full service store remained operational 24/7 throughout the renovation. SML Consultants Group Ltd. is registered with APEG Alberta and provided all of the contract administration and field services for the project.
