Shoppers Drug Mart, Chinook Centre

This completely renovated store located in Calgary’s Chinook Centre is Shoppers Drug Mart’s busiest location Canada wide. The recessed LED cove lighting integrates with the cosmetic counters in the store’s Beauty Boutique, along with the fragrance area, skin care counter, and nail center. The electrical design includes the installation of a Gridcast visual communications system and displays media on TV monitors for the in-store signage. 

Careful planning was required to schedule the electrical upgrades and installations as this full service store remained operational 24/7 throughout the renovation. SML Consultants Group Ltd. is registered with APEG Alberta and provided all of the contract administration and field services for the project.
